Join Naturopath & Nutritionist Cindi Young & Michelle McCosker for your 6 week group program.

Lose weight and keep it off with a group weight loss program.  Have fun while losing weight with group support from others that are in a similar situation as you. We have a small group of people from 5 to 8 participants. This way we all get to know each other really well. We meet once weekly for 6 weeks on the same night and time each week.  Research shows that people who receive weekly support on a weight loss program have long lasting results.

Weekly group meetings

Each week the night begins with Cindi & Michelle asking everyone how they have gone that week and any challenges that have come up. If things haven’t gone well we work together at some ways to overcome the obstacles.

Next Cindi or Michelle will do a nutrition and weight loss talk that will go from 20 to 30 minutes. We may ask you to fill in a questionnaire or we may do some testing to assess whether there may be a hidden obstacle for you.

Then we will weigh, measure and perform bio-impedance analysis on you. Cindi will go through your bio-impedance analysis reading with you which will show your fat percentage, muscle mass, hydration, and energy production by your muscles.   Your progress will be recorded on the board. We also get you to add up the amount of centimetres that you have lost that week.  This will conclude the evening.

Here is a summary of what we do each week:

  • One hour group meeting
  • Assessment on how everyone went that week
  • Assessment of who is in ketosis & tips for helping
  • Cindi/Michelle  presents a 20-30 min talk on nutrition & healthy eating, mindset, motivation, lifestyle, exercise and tips for maintaining weight loss.
  • Measure & weigh in
  • Regular bioimpedance analysis (VLA) – review fat %, muscle mass, weight, cellular health and hydration.  Are you  burning fat? or muscle?
  • Overall weight loss & fat loss for that week
